Summer 2010 is here and there are some fantastic products on the high street and online to help you achieve make up looks that are bang on trend this season.
It’s time to get artistic with your eye make up! Pastel eye shadow shades are back this season, I particulatly like the lilac shades that appeared on the Dior Spring/Summer 2010 Catwalks. You can create an amazing look by building up the colours from Yves Saint Laurent Eyeshadow ‘Lilac Sky’ (£39.00) sweep the colours onto your eyelids and blend the colours into each other, making sure there are no harsh lines where the different shades start and finish. Then, go for a bright and glossy lip colour try No7 Sheer Temptation lipstick in ‘Lovely’ (£9.50) and finally create a golden sunkissed finish by brushing Estée Lauder “Goddess Soft Matte Bronzer” (£20) onto your forehead, nose and cheekbones.
Lisa Eldridge created a stunning ”post-apocalyptic” make up look for Todd Lynn using mineral foundation and earthy brown tones on the eyes. The must have products to create this seasons look are Benefit ‘Big Beautiful Eyes’ (£21.50) followed by a dusting of Urban Decay Baked Bronzing Powder Baked (£15.50) to add warmth to your skin and a touch of Rimmel Royal Gloss Lip Gloss in ‘Cookie’ (£3.99)
Lips were full impact on the Spring/Summer 2010 catwalks with red in particular featuring. So forget about your eyes and really go for it using with Topshop’s ‘Rio Rio’ (£8)
