You’ve already heard about CC and BB creams, well know there’s a new beauty craze on the market, introducing ‘Blur’.
What are Blur Products?
The idea is that by using a blur primer, cream or powder you can blur imperfections, pores and fine lines. Unlike CC and BB creams they are clear in texture and usually contain vitamins, light reflecting particles and anti ageing ingredients.
How To Apply Blur Products
Complete your daily skin care regime and use your blur product underneath your foundation
Which Blur Product is For You?
As a bridal make up artist in Manchester I’ve been using blur products for a while. In the past I’ve had to go to trade shows to buy products that I could mix to create a blur product, not any more! Last month I added these two babies to my makeup kit, I’ve been using them on my clients ever since and they have loved the results.
My favourite is the YSL ‘Touche Eclat Blur Primer’ (£29.50) as it’s a gel texture and has the same liquid gold that’s in the Touche Eclat foundation.
My second recent purchase was the Charlotte Tilbury super luxe micro – fine soft powder (£33) it contains nano particles that blur away lines and imperfections. You can buff it on on top of your skin for a bright, illuminating finish, I picked this one as it doesn’t cake or look dry. Also an added bonus is that it comes in a gorgeous gold compact and is available in three shades, fair, medium and dark.
