Glam Party Make Up Tips For New Years Eve

Christmas was fantastic, like any make up artist in Manchester, i’ve been rushed off my feet. I’m getting my kit organised as it’s nearly time to celebrate the New Year. If you haven’t picked out your party outfit here are some make up ideas to help you decide.

– Start with a perfect make up base by applying your foundation with a brush, set it with a powder and enhance your features with a glow using a highlighter and your favourite blusher for rosy cheeks.

– Shimmering gold/silver metallic eyes are especially on trend this Spring/Summer 2010. A nude lip colour fits perfectly with this make up look,.

– Don’t be afraid to try something new, go for bold red lips. Apply the lip colour with a lip brush, pat it in with your finger, define and shape your lips with a lip liner (blend it into the lip colour to make sure you are not left with a clear line) add a second layer of lip colour and finally finish with a touch of clear lip gloss to make it last all night.  Match this with a subtle eye colour so that the focus stays on your lips and ensures your eyes are not competing with them.
