If you’ve got lots of Christmas events coming up and you want to pick up a few new make up products, you don’t need to spend a fortune just purchase a few versatile products that you can use to create lots of different looks.
I’m an Associate Tutor for Jemma Kidd teaching Masterclass@Home in Manchester so here are my top 3 Jemma Kidd make up products that i’ll be using to create glam looks on my clients this party season!
1. Structured Eyeline – Pro Stay Put Shadow Liner (£18) & Crushed Jewel Gel-Liner in Topaz (£14)
This is a fantastic duo product with a shadow that is easy to blend and water resistant on one end and on the other a liquid liner that is easy to apply and creates precise lines.
Liquid liner is a quick way to create a glamorous look and is very striking even without eye shadow. It can be tricky to perfect a straight line so first remove any excess ink on the side of lid. Hold the mirror up and tilt your head back while you apply it as it will help to stretch your eyelid making it easier to draw one smooth line.
For a touch of glitter use the gel liner in the corner of your lower and upper lash line, it’s muti-coloured so the effect is stunning!
2. Dual Illuminator Creme Highlighter & Shimmer Dust (£18)
Apply the glitter free creme highlighter to your temple, cheek bones and cupid’s bow. You can use your fingers or the Jemma Kidd Pro Flat Top Brush.
The shimmer dust has beautiful light reflecting pigments so it can be used to compliment your eye make up in the middle of your eye lid and for an added touch of glimmer over the top of your highlighter
3. Bold Red Lip – Ultimate Lipstick Duo in Scarlett (£13)
Red lips always look fabulous and there is a pefect red shade for everyone. If you have a porcelain skin tone go for blue-reds and orange based reds if you have a warmer skin tone. Thin lips look best with sheer, glossy shades and fuller lips look best with matte finishes.
This product has a hydrating balm enriched with vitamin A and E and has a high pigment of colour which makes it long lasting. It’s important to get precise application so use a brush to apply it. Use the tip of the brush for the edge and lip line, pay attention to the cupid’s bow. Fill in the centre of the lips to create a Geisha look then work upwards and in the corners. Lightly blot the your lips with tissue and repeat.
