Top 5 Make Up Artist Bodypainting Tips
Got a birthday coming up? Thought of a theme for your party yet? Hows about using body paint to create some fabulous looks? If this sounds good here’s my 5 tops tips to create your perfect transformation…
1, Make sure you have an end result in mind before you start to ensure you buy the right materials. You can create different looks using body paint, cake make up or powders than you mix with mixing liquid. You will find one that you like to use the most. A Make up Artist brush offers a great effect but for larger areas a sponge is best as it will be quicker
2, Ensure you have lots of wipes and tissues to clean your hands and brushes
3, Have a mirror handy so you can check your work
4, A good idea if you are using several colours is to let the first one dry before applying another. This way the colours won’t have a chance to blend together, spoiling the effect. Also applying a thin layer of paint first rather than one thick layer, which might crack really helps
5, Finally, If you don’t feel confident drawing free style designs you can buy stencils that look fantastic. With a bit of practise you will get the hang of it.
